I was asked to do a 10 minute performance to introduce the film ‘It Happened One Night’ at The Electric Palace Cinema in Hastings. It was part of a short season of romantic films

‘It Happened One Night’ is a wonderful romantic film about falling in love on a night bus. I drew on my own experiences of night buses for ‘Somewhere in Europe’: an atmospheric spoken word piece.

‘Happy Fool’ is a song based on dialogue from the film.
